Stirling Broadcast is proud to present another outstanding loudspeaker design by Derek Hughes.

The Stirling Broadcast SB-88 Domestic Monitor is a two-way design, essentially being a scaled down LS3/6 but without the ‘super-tweeter’. The cabinets use the same thin wall birch plywood panels as used in our LS3/5a and LS3/6 loudspeakers, with double thickness rubber damping pads to dampen cabinet wall resonances and foam to dampen internal standing waves. The low and high frequency units are the same custom units utilised in the LS3/6.

The speaker is ideal for situations where the LS3/6 is deemed too large for the domestic conditions, or for the size of the listening room, as it sounds extremely similar to its larger brother and gives little away in the bass area.

The new speaker ideally requires 480mm high stands and we can supply matching stands from Something Solid.

Interested customers should contact Stirling Broadcast or Something Solid for further details.

The SB-88 is sold with our standard 5 year warranty on the drive units and crossovers
